About the role
As the Digital Project Manager , you’ll lead delivery across a new website rebuild and mobile app development , designed to create a more immersive fan experience and direct audiences to enhanced live streaming.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital fan platforms (web + mobile).
- Manage the vendor relationship, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
- Coordinate local and offshore teams — UX, Dev, and Product — to maintain project alignment.
- Oversee project plans, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
- Act as the key point of contact between internal teams, leadership, and vendor partners.
- Balance innovation with respect for the brand’s legacy and fan community.
- Support other fan technology or digital initiatives as needed.
- Join occasional evening calls (1–2 hours per week) with the UK vendor team.
About you
You’re an experienced Digital Project Manager who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. You’re confident leading website and mobile application builds, and comfortable managing offshore vendors and local delivery teams.
You’ll bring :
5+ years’ experience in digital project or program delivery.Proven experience across website rebuilds and / or app launches .Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Understanding of agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.Passion for sport, digital innovation, and creating great user experiences.Auckland-based (hybrid)About the job
