Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate HR advice to managers and employees on performance management, disciplinary processes, and employment conditions.
- Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues, ensuring adherence to applicable legislation.
- Maintain awareness of legislative changes and ensure HR practices remain compliant.
- Support a workplace culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Coordinate recruitment activities including job design, advertising, candidate screening, and selection processes using the applicant tracking system.
- Prepare job offer letters, background checks, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Support the performance review process and assist managers in identifying development needs and opportunities.
- Provide market data and analysis for compensation processes as needed.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of training and development initiatives as needed.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with privacy and data protection requirements.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Participate in HR projects and contribute to organizational development initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.3 to 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a business partnering capacity.Demonstrated knowledge of New Zealand and Australia employment legislation and HR best practices.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes within set timeframes.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).Benefits
