This is a newly created and pivotal leadership role where your impact will be felt across the entire network.
You'll be responsible for optimising our inventory, procurement, and category management functions, ensuring our customers always have access to the right products at the right time.You'll work closely with suppliers, branch managers, and our strategic brands team to deliver efficiency, innovation, and sustainable growth across the supply chain.
This is an opportunity to make your mark in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.What You'll DoDrive performance : Lead inventory, procurement, and category strategies to maximise stock availability, supplier value, and customer satisfaction.Lead & inspire : Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Build relationships : Partner with suppliers, branch managers, and key stakeholders to deliver commercial results.Optimise systems : Leverage data, analytics, and technology to streamline supply chain processes and decision-making.Ensure compliance : Oversee safe, ethical, and regulatory standards within the supply chain.Skills & experience you'll bringProven experience in supply chain, procurement, or inventory management (ideally 5+ years in plumbing, construction, or trade distribution).
A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.Commercial acumen with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage category strategies.A hands-on, solution-focused approach with the ability to work under pressure.Strong relationship and communication skills across all levels of the business.Ready to shape the future?
