BEUMER Group New Zealand is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the execution of automation and infrastructure projects at Auckland Airport.
This foundational role is key to ensuring smooth coordination, timely reporting and stakeholder alignment across our dynamic project environment.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Be DoingAs a Project Coordinator, you will provide essential support to project teams, helping to manage administrative tasks and maintain effective communication between stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will includeAssisting in the planning and scheduling of project activitiesTracking project progress and providing regular updates to team membersMaintaining project documentation, including contracts, reports, and correspondenceCoordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and recording minutesLiaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communicationSupporting budget preparation and monitoring project expensesIdentifying and resolving administrative issues impacting project performanceLiaising with logistics teams for delivery coordinationSupporting departments with parts-related queries and documentationConducting periodic stocktakes and reconciling discrepanciesEnsuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures throughout project phases
QualificationsWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for a technically capable and proactive individual who thrives in fast-paced operational environments and brings some, or all the following : QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related fieldCertification in project management (e.g., CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation), working towards1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in project coordination or administrative supportExperience working in cross-functional teamsExposure to international or global projects is desirableSkills & CompetenciesProficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project)Basic knowledge of project management methodologiesAbility to prepare and analyse project documentationBasic financial tracking and budgeting skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational and time-management abilitiesProblem-solving and analytical thinkingAdaptability and flexibility in dynamic environmentsTeam collaboration and conflict resolution
