Darius Group Limited is a property development company engaged in land subdivision and residential construction projects across New Zealand. The company also collaborates with overseas manufacturers to source prefabricated housing materials for its developments. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in Auckland.
Position Overview :
The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of construction and prefabrication projects. The role involves coordinating between project teams, contractors, and overseas manufacturers to ensure project timelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities and schedules.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
- Coordinate communication among internal teams, contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, and clients to ensure effective project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, milestones, and variations.
- Support procurement processes, including liaising with Chinese manufacturers of prefabricated houses, ensuring imported products comply with New Zealand building standards, preparing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and maintaining supplier documentation.
- Assist in preparing project budgets, monitoring expenses, and reconciling project-related costs.
- Organise project meetings and prepare reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and project-specific requirements.
Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements :
A relevant NZQF Level 5 Diploma qualification, orAt least three years of relevant work experience in project coordination, construction management, or a related field.Other Skills and Attributes :
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good understanding of New Zealand Building Codes and compliance standards.Bilingual in English and Mandarin is preferred, as the role involves coordination with Chinese manufacturers and suppliers for prefabricated housing materials.
