About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Assistant to join our construction and engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Construction Managers, Architects, and Surveyors throughout the planning, coordination, and execution phases of various building and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting Construction Managers, Architects, and Surveyors in project planning, documentation, and on-site coordination.
Interpreting and applying construction drawings, building regulations, and codes of practice to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
Preparing, editing, and revising preliminary sketches, working drawings, specifications, maps, and charts using AutoCAD or similar software.
Supporting project scheduling and coordinating work programmes between contractors and engineers.
Inspecting materials and site work to ensure compliance with technical specifications, regulations, and quality standards .
Collecting site data using surveying instruments and performing routine field measurements and computations.
Assisting with cost calculation, materials estimation, and timeline planning for construction projects.
Supporting construction quality control and preparing technical documentation for audits and project reports.
Qualifications and Skills
Diploma or Degree in Construction Engineering Technology / Civil Engineering .
