Job Description

As a Casual Programme Assistant , you’ll be the friendly face that makes the mornings and afternoons unforgettable for children! You’ll be working mainly in the afternoons (2.30pm - 6pm depending on programme requirements) and school holiday programmes (between 7am - 6pm). This is a reliever role , so you’ll be rostered on an “as required” basis – perfect if you’re after flexibility while still making a big impact.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and supporting Tamariki in a range of fun, safe activities
  • Keeping our spaces tidy, clean, and welcoming for children
  • Helping your Programme Manager run smooth, energetic sessions that keep kids buzzing
  • Spotting any hiccups (behaviour, wellbeing, safety) and sharing with your manager so everyone stays supported

  • Have the right to work in New Zealand (valid visa or citizenship)
  • Can get to our Woodlands Park site with reliable transportation or a vehicle.
  • Are enthusiastic about working with kids – from babysitting to coaching to volunteering, any experience counts!
  • Are reliable, energetic, and keen to make every session special
