Contract : Permanent, part time 0.8 FTE / 64 hours per fortnight District Nurse position, rostered and rotating

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse seeking greater autonomy and working in an environment with a diverse range of patient care. We have opportunities available in our Kenepuru District Nursing team.
District Nursing is a dynamic and evolving field, offering a multi-faceted role that supports patients in their homes and communities. We're looking for compassionate, adaptable Registered Nurses who thrive in autonomous practice and enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive team.
What we offer flexible shifts, morning : 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm and afternoon : 1 : 30pm - 10 : 00pm

About the Team / Service / Location
We're seeking District Nurses to join our supportive nursing team, working out of the Community Health Building, Kenepuru Community Hospital campus.
District Nursing is a dynamic and evolving specialty. Our nurses play a vital role in supporting patients transitioning from hospital to home, and in working alongside GP practices to provide care in the community.
Delivering home-based interventions including :
Assessing patients for their personal care needs and developing care plans. Direction and delegation of the Health Care Assistants (HCAs) and collaborating the wider Community Health team to ensure safe, coordinated care.
