About The Role
A great opportunity for a Head of Sourcing Execution to lead a team of procurement professionals to deliver robust contracts and sourcing strategies that drive efficiency, innovation, and value. You’ll be at the forefront of procurement and contracting, managing the end-to-end sourcing process, from planning through to contract implementation, while ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and aligning with broader organisational goals. This role works closely with category management teams and senior stakeholders to deliver commercial excellence and optimise supply chain performance.
About You
You will be a strategic sourcing leader with deep expertise in procurement operations, commercial frameworks, and contract management. With in depth experience in sourcing, including at a senior leadership level, you bring a proven ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver measurable financial and operational outcomes. You’ve worked in complex, fast paced environments before and are known for your ability to drive innovation, influence at senior levels, and build strong relationships across internal and external networks. Your leadership style is collaborative and forward thinking, and you’re passionate about developing capability and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
You will confidently navigate ambiguity and change, and bring a strong understanding of procurement technologies, market dynamics, and strategic sourcing methodologies to the team.
You will probably have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field (Master’s degree or CIPS qualification desirable) and proven success in leading sourcing functions and implementing procurement strategies in large, complex environments. You will have strong financial management skills and a track record of delivering cost savings and value enhancement alongside a deep understanding of procurement processes, contract development, and risk mitigation. Your previous experience and success building strategic partnerships and influencing at senior levels will be clear and if you have experience in health and / or public sector environments, that would be a real plus.
