Specified by New Zealand's top architects and designers, our products can be found in projects built by the country's leading residential and commercial builders.
We're seeking an experienced Primary Demand Representative to grow and secure sales with national key accounts such as retirement village operators, Group residential builders, and other commercial businesses involved in construction projects specifying our products.
Guided by the leadership of the Group Key Accounts Manager and working closely with our Specification Representatives and Account Managers you will build relationships with key stakeholders to secure future sustainable business for NZ Panels Group.
This role includes regular travel nationally and you to become a key contact within the building and construction industry, promoting and enabling NZ Panels as the market leader in interior solutions.
Responsibilities
Enhance our reputation as an industry market leader and secure market share, becoming a key contact within the NZ building industry.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including senior decision makers across building and construction networks.
Secure regional and national supply agreements.
Participate in corporate conferences, trade shows and functions to promote NZPG.
Develop and execute commercial strategies to realize new opportunities.
Develop a sales plan which delivers revenue and margin budgets for the business.
Target and cold call potential business opportunities.
Monitor competitor activity, gathering market intelligence via your network of contacts.
Recognize and evaluate emerging market trends that could impact the current and future growth of sales and profitability.
Qualifications
A tertiary qualification (desirable).
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales field role.
National builder relationships.
Strong financial acumen.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
