As a Strategy Specialist, you’ll be part of a lean, high-performing team that partners with senior leaders to shape IAG’s strategic direction. You’ll work across a wide range of business challenges—diving into data, identifying trends, and crafting insights that help inform key decisions at the executive level.

You’ll lead your own workstreams, collaborate with subject matter experts, and bring structure to ambiguity. Whether it’s building business models, developing strategic communications, or analysing market shifts, you’ll be trusted to bring clarity, creativity, and commercial thinking to the table.

This role is ideal for someone who’s curious, confident, and thrives in a fast-moving environment where no two days look the same.

This is a permanent, full-time role with flexible hybrid working arrangements. While we welcome applicants from across Aotearoa, there’s a preference for those based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland).

We’re looking for someone who’s curious, confident, and great at connecting the dots. You’ll need :

• Proven skills and experience in strategy, consulting, or corporate environments
• Strong communication skills and a knack for storytelling (PowerPoint is your playground)
• A structured, analytical mindset with commercial awareness
• Experience building business models and analysing scenarios
• The ability to influence senior stakeholders and work across teams
• A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering or a related field
• Experience in M&A, digital transformation, or customer-led organisations is a bonus
