Due to an increased focus on strategy and growth within Suncorp NZ we are on the lookout for an experienced Strategy Manager to help lead and deliver our strategy agenda, including facilitating our annual strategic and agile quarterly business planning processes, delivering priority strategy projects and developing strategic insights and reporting for the business.This is a key role within our business and covers the full suite of strategy work including : strategy development (short-, medium- and long-term), business planning, strategic projects (including growth, operational improvement, customer experience, operating model and ESG), corporate development and M&A.Key responsibilitiesDirectly support the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to help set the longer-term and medium-term ambition and strategy for the Suncorp NZ business.Develop the three-year business plan to execute the strategy and deliver key financial and non-financial outcomes.
Work with our Finance team to integrate the business plan and financial plan, including key strategic initiatives.Deliver priority strategy projects and strategy work, typically to either a board or executive audience.Deliver competitor intelligence including research of competitor results to gain insight into competitor advantages or opportunities.Deliver regular CEO reporting to the board and other reports and presentations as required (for example, investor days).
