Overview
A well-established, small New Zealand-owned property management company with over 20 years of experience is seeking a capable and experienced Office Manager to join their team. This opportunity has come about due to the retirement of their long-serving Office Manager after 21 years. This is a key role within a small, close-knit team of two where your organisational skills, initiative, and professionalism will be highly valued. The successful candidate will be stepping into a role that is central to the smooth running of the business. Working directly with the Managing Director of the company, the business owns, manages & leases commercial office buildings & retail shops on the North Shore, Auckland and Hamilton.
The role
- You will be responsible for the full day to day accounts activity
- AP / AR responsibility as well as analysis of creditors accounts
- Weekly Bank reconciliations
- EOM Accounts and reporting
- GST & PAYE
- Small payroll responsibility
- Leasing / Renewals of offices or retail shops
- Property Management, liaising with tenants
- Organising contractors for maintenance and repair purposes
- Administration duties, office suppliers ordering
- Customer Service and relationship management
