Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Events Coordinator to join our External Engagement Team at MIT. Reporting to the Events Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering MIT's Graduation events and supporting other key institutional events that celebrate our learners and strengthen our relationships with industry, employers, and community partners. The role focuses on end-to-end coordination of Graduation events, ensuring they are executed to the highest standard and reflect the significance they hold for graduates, their whānau, and MIT. You will manage all aspects of event logistics—from venues and staging to cultural protocols and academic regalia—while collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers. Your attention to detail, project management expertise, and passion for creating meaningful experiences will be key to delivering seamless and impactful events.
