The Role

Our facility Eldon Lodge in Paraparaumu is looking for a full-time Charge Nurse to join their dedicated team.

What You\'ll Be Doing

Playing a key role in the development, implementation and evaluation of all clinical care processes in accordance with Oceania policies, protocols and guidelines for care.

Providing effective clinical leadership as well as undertaking RN responsibilities and duties in the provision of quality clinical care.

Leading the nursing care team in a designated service area to provide excellent clinical care to residents and their families.

What You\'ll Bring

A current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate

Previous experience in an RN role, with at least 2 years within an aged care setting

A commitment to delivering excellent service

Excellent customer relationship management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Capability to train clinical staff at all levels and to communicate clinical information to non-clinical staff

Demonstrated applied understanding of relevant legislation, codes of practice, standards

Commitment to ongoing learning
