Hello Beasty is a lively and well-regarded restaurant on Auckland’s viaduct. We celebrate contemporary NZ food, inspired by the cuisines of Japan and Korea.

The role

You\'ll take pride in providing exceptional customer experiences.

Interacting in a positive and friendly manner with guests and team.

Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.

Maintaining and enhancing the quality of the existing cocktail programme.

Helping to administer the bar invoicing and stock control day-to-day.

Adhering to NZ Liquor Licensing Laws at all times.

Your duties

Providing excellent, positive levels of customer service at all times.

Maintaining a high level of product knowledge in order to be amazing at the above!

Sound knowledge of classic cocktails. Coffee-making skills a bonus.

Running a busy bar service and dispense – taking orders, using different sales techniques to enhance the customer experience. You may be required to jump in to help serve food and beverage.

Training junior team members, working as part of a team and helping and respecting your colleagues.

Having a sound understanding of NZ Liquor Licensing Laws and adhering to them at all times.

Sound wine, beer and spirits knowledge (and education) a bonus.

Receiving and processing weekly beverage orders, maintaining stock control.

Pride in keeping an immaculate, clean, working environment a must have.

Progression for the right candidate, if desired.

To be successful in this role you will have

A proven performance record with at least two years’ experience in a similar position in a bar or restaurant bar.

Sound classic cocktail knowledge and intermediate knowledge of beer and wine.

A natural ability of being very detailed and organised, able to understand our menu, systems and procedures.

A polished presentation and grooming.
