We are seeking a dedicated Geriatrician to join our highlyregarded Older Persons Health inpatient team at Burwood Hospital.

This

is an opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, patient-focused

service within Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora Canterbury.About the RoleProvide specialist care for older inpatients at Burwood Hospital.

This is a sub-acute care and rehabilitation setting.Provision of general Geriatrics outpatient clinicWork within a multidisciplinary team to support older persons rehabilitation and complex geriatric care.Collaborate closely with acute services at Christchurch Hospital and community teams.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and teaching opportunities.About the Team / ServiceOlder Persons Health (OPH) is recognised for its

comprehensive and high-quality services, including rehabilitation, sub-acute

medical care, stroke services, orthomedicine, surgical medicine, and community

geriatric medicine.

You will bring : Vocationally registered (or eligible for registration) with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) as a Geriatrician / Physician ().
