OverviewJoin to apply for the Host | Pou Tiaki - Koraunui Stokes Valley Neighbourhood Hub role at Hutt City Council.This is a one-year fixed-term opportunity to join our team as a Host / Pou Tiaki based at the Koraunui Stokes Valley Neighbourhood Hub.

This is to provide cover for our team as one of our staff members goes on maternity leave.ResponsibilitiesThe Pou Tiaki is the friendly and welcoming face at the Koraunui hub, providing information and support to customers and the community.

You will connect with customers and assist with a variety of activities including school holiday programmes, arts and culture, community events and functions, basic library duties, general enquiries and other duties.This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday : 9 : 15am - 5 : 45pm.About YouInnovative and community focused with a can-do attitude and passion for developing and supporting library programmes and hub services.Outstanding customer service and a community-led development ethos, with the ability to work alongside a diverse range of people of all ages.Confident using technology and able to connect with a wide range of customer groups; aware of strengths and development areas.Knowledge of the Stokes Valley community is desirable but not essential; experience embracing biculturalism and cultural diversity is valued.About UsKia noho mai tenei taone hei pou herenga waka, hei pou herenga kaupapa, hei wahi whai hua ki hona iwi.
