As we gear up for a busy summer season, we're on the hunt for energetic, customer-focused superstars to join our Food & Beverage team!
Our Food & Beverage Attendants play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our manuhiri.
From managing reservations and welcoming guests to taking orders, setting tables, and clearing dishes, they ensure every interaction is seamless and enjoyable.
At our multi-purpose venue, the Food & Beverage team is essential in maximizing turnover and occupancy across our diverse offerings.
These include our daily buffet lunches and dinners, Te Po experience, and Hia Kai Café & Bar.
Beyond our regular offerings, we frequently host a variety of events – major conferences, meetings, private functions, concerts, and more – showcasing our ability to cater to almost any occasion.
We have fixed-term positions starting now and concluding in April

Responsibilities & Qualifications
A friendly nature and the confidence to talk to different customers and build genuine and meaningful rapport.
The ability to work autonomously, but also within a team.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A positive attitude that emphasises and encapsulates the values of Te Puia.
Full availability to work throughout the summer period, including weekends and public holidays.
The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
High standards of personal hygiene and appearance.
Reliable and committed to delivering a high-quality experience.
Knowledge of Te Reo Maori and tikanga is preferred, but not essential.
