And you'll collaborate with the Chief Finance Officer and senior leaders to lead DPMC's planning, performance reporting, and risk management functions, ensuring the department operates transparently and is well-positioned to achieve its strategic priorities.In this role, you will : Oversee accountability and performance reporting, including the Annual Report, Estimates, Statements of Intent, and internal reporting frameworks.Collaborate with the CFO to implement planning and reporting processes that are integrated with budgeting to enable sound decision-making and transparency.Lead and empower a team to deliver timely, accurate, and high-quality Ministerial services, including OIAs, WPQs, and correspondence.Champion proactive risk management by embedding effective frameworks, tools, and practices across the organisation.Build strong relationships with senior leaders, Ministers' offices, and central agencies, to ensure smooth delivery of services.Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture where your people are supported to succeed.About You - M6bou An4dTo succeed in this role, you will bring : Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire, empower, and develop a high-performing team.Strong knowledge of Ministerial servicing processes, including OIAs, WPQs, and correspondence management.Demonstrated expertise in accountability reporting and experience working with planning, budgeting, and performance frameworks.Experience embedding or enhancing risk management frameworks within a complex organisation.Excellent relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage effectively across Ministers' offices, senior leaders, and central agencies.Political awareness, sound judgement, and the ability to manage sensitive or high-profile matters with discretion and tact.Working at DPMC means being at the heart of some of the most significant and impactful work in Aotearoa New Zealand.
