We are on the lookout for a dynamic individual who can effortlessly manage multiple tasks, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings resilience, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong customer-centric mindset to the table. You will also bring :
Knowledge of government machinery, OIA, and Privacy Act
Strong research and analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication in plain English
Ability to manage demanding workloads and priorities under pressure
Sound judgement and risk management
Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience working with or communicating with a Minister's officeYou will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector. At NZTA, it all starts with our people. Te Waka Kōtuia Engagement and Partnerships Group is accountable for navigating NZTA's journey by building strong relationships with all stakeholders, telling great stories to achieve outcomes and change and managing our reputation. Ministerial Services works with other NZTA business units to meet the organisation's ministerial servicing and legislative requirements. We are the key interface between the Minister of Transport and Associate Minister, members of the public, and other government organisations, responsible for maintaining NZTA's reputation by ensuring that work is of the highest quality, within the required timeframes and meets the needs of our customers. We are the experts in providing advice and support to the wider organisation on machinery of government and parliamentary processes.
