You\u2019ll also lead the delivery of core corporate functions ensuring they are integrated and aligned with organisational priorities.
You\u2019ll lead a small, capable team, providing them with the support and clarity they need to deliver high-quality services while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership and oversight of internal governance frameworks and external boards, ensuring effective decision-making, compliance, and high-quality support.Lead and guide your team to deliver high-quality services across corporate policy, protective security and information management, BCP, and facilities management.Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure corporate services are aligned with strategic priorities and enable effective organisational performance.Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing expert advice on governance and corporate operational matters.Drive continuous improvement by strengthening systems, processes, and frameworks to enhance organisational resilience, efficiency, and good practice.About YouWe\u2019re looking for someone withExperience leading governance or corporate operations in a complex environment, ideally in the public sector.Strong understanding of governance and legislative frameworks, board support, and compliance obligations.Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop a team.Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to build trust at all levels.Sound judgement and credibility when providing advice to decision-makers and supporting high-quality governance outcomesA future-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement, innovation, and enhancing organisational systems and processes.Security RequirementsNormally you must be a New Zealand citizen or hold a Resident class visa.
Alternatively, you must have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia with a 15 year checkable background.
