The Opportunity : TDG Environmental has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team, based in Whangarei.
This role is pivotal in the successful delivery of a major contract with a regional council,working closely with key stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary point of contact for the council, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.Understand client needs and expectations, and ensure they are reflected in service delivery managing contract performance, including scope, variations, and KPIs.Resolve issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.Ensure delivery timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.Proactively identify risks and opportunities, adjusting plans as needed to meet evolving client priorities.Attend client meetings, site visits, and strategic reviews to ensure alignment of objectives.Anticipate client requirements and proactively propose value-added solutions.Ensure compliance with contractual terms, regulatory requirements, and company policies.Monitor costs and profitability, and support accurate reporting and forecastingSkills, Knowledge & ExperienceA strong understanding of managing contracts under NZS3910 is essential.Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence outcomesExperience in civil construction or three waters infrastructure projectsA tertiary qualification in engineering or project management desirableWhy Work With Us?
