Key Responsibilities
Based in Whangarei, you will be involved in all aspects of business advisory work for a portfolio of clients.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include :
Oversee all facets of business advisory services for a wide range of clients, ensuring high-quality outcomes across various entity types and activities.
Manage and review the work of other employees within the team, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their professional growth.
Collaborate with current managers and report directly to directors, contributing insights to strategic decision-making processes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of complex accounting standards and business matters relevant to public practice environments.
Develop strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and delivering tailored advice that supports their business objectives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
Support the implementation of best practices within the team by sharing expertise and encouraging continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in training new staff members, fostering an environment where learning is shared openly among colleagues.
Contribute positively to the team culture by participating in group activities and promoting camaraderie among peers.
Key Requirements
To excel as a Business Advisory Manager, you should have substantial public practice experience, ideally with prior senior responsibilities within a Chartered Accountants office.
Your background should include :
Significant experience in public practice accounting environments with proven exposure to business advisory functions.
Ability to manage and review the work of others while providing empathetic feedback that encourages professional development.
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
