The opportunity

As a Senior Consultant or Manager in EY's Business Transformation team, you'll help deliver outcomes on some of the country's most complex and high-impact programs.

From unlocking operational efficiencies to driving strategic change, you'll play a key role in supporting our government clients.

This is a hybrid position based in our Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) office.

You can expect a diverse range of responsibilities that allow you to make a meaningful difference.

Your duties may include :

Working as part of a team to deliver business transformation projects across various areas, including :

Operating model design

Strategic cost transformation and operational efficiency

Process optimisation and ways of working

Business case development

Overseeing complex transformation programs from strategy through design to implementation.

Driving business development and account management activities, including pursuits, proposals, and managing key client relationships.

Leading and delivering end-to-end business transformation projects and programs.

Working with government departments and understanding the machinery of government.

Having government or consulting experience.

Communicating clearly in written form and thinking strategically.

Working on complex public sector initiatives or programs.

Ideally, you'll also have the following skills and attributes, but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes.

A structured approach to problem-solving.

Understanding of the machinery of government.

Ability to work in a team to leverage insights for strategic decision-making.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts confidently to stakeholders.

A client-centric approach focused on delivering value and exceptional service.

Understanding of project delivery; delivery experience is highly valuable.
