About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) at the Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (iCAMHS), you will provide specialist nursing care, expertise and leadership that ensures services to clients are provided in the most effective and evidence based method.
This includes direct care and delivery as well as supporting other health professionals in their management of care delivery.
There are opportunities to lead innovative practice and provide support, guidance and education alongside a range of appropriate mental health interventions.

About the Team / Service / Location
Our team of mental health clinicians work closely together as a multi-disciplinary team to provide mental health assessments and treatment to Tamariki (children), taiohi (young people) and whanau (extended family).
The Rotorua team is based at Te Aka Mauri, the Children's Health Hub, located in the Rotorua Public Library building.
The Taupo team is located on the Taupo Hospital grounds, in the Mental Health and Addictions Services building.
Te Whatu Ora Lakes provides healthcare to a population of 110,000 people from its two modern and progressive general hospitals in Rotorua and Taupo, New Zealand.
The Lakes district is well known for its many outdoor recreational activities such as mountain biking, skiing, and fishing.
Hot-pools are close by and family friendly beaches are an hour's drive away.
