- About the Role
- As a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Urology, you will utilise specialist nursing knowledge and expertise to provide patient centred care, across the continuum of care, to optimise the patients journey, improve equitable health outcomes and ensure excellent quality of care is provided to patients and whanau requiring Urology care.You will provide expert clinical advice, information and specialty education for patients / whanau and other staff maintaining a Maori centric approach while leading quality improvement initiatives within the ward / unit / department.Click to view the position description.

You will be working alongside a close-knit team of Senior Medical Officers, Registrars, Registered Nurses, and Clerical Team all committed to providing excellence in urological care.

About youAs a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you would be someone that is skilled at relating to and building a rapport with others, and in maintaining harmonious and supportive working relationships and encourages teamwork, cooperation with a positive attitude.New Zealand Registered Nurse with current practicing certificateAt least 7 years post registration experienceRelevant Post Graduate Diploma in specialty areaAt least 3 years experience in relevant specialty areaDesignated Senior Nurse PDRP or Expert PDRP (demonstrating clinical examples)Certificate in Adult / Clinical TeachingFull New Zealand driving licenceMasters degree or working towards is desiredWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.We embrace a workforce that is diverse and inclusive so that we are better positioned to understand and service our community
