The company has an extensive range of premium baby products and an active presence at industry events and baby expos. They are a growing business with strategic growth plans and values that support an informal, busy, varied environment with flexibility and autonomy.

Hours : Monday – Friday, standard business hours

Location – Henderson Valley

Note : Occasional weekend days to attend baby expos (3-5 per year)

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile invoices for stock, services, and consumables; ensure statements are balanced for the monthly payment run; manage supplier credits, outstanding purchase orders, freight, and customs charges.
• Purchase from key domestic suppliers, maintain purchase orders, receipt stock accurately, and ensure core products remain in stock.
• Lead stock takes, oversee stock process improvements, and coordinate with Production and Sales teams on ordering, promotions, and events.
• Provide inventory reporting and profitability analysis, support forecasting, and deliver insights on sales trends.
• Assist the Production Team with inventory reporting and planning to align stock levels with demand.
• Perform reconciliations across all banking types, and prepare domestic and international payments for approval.
• Partner with the Business Administration Manager and wider teams to streamline processes and deliver timely information that supports decision-making.

You’ll be a detail-focused, analytical professional with a passion for numbers and a proactive mindset when it comes to solving problems. You excel in fast-paced, team-driven environments, comfortably juggling multiple tasks without compromising on accuracy. Your experience in accounts payable and inventory management, combined with strong organisational skills, will play a key role in supporting The Sleep Store’s ongoing success. You’ll also share a genuine passion for the company’s mission and what they do.
