Business Development Manager – Commercial
AIG New Zealand is looking for a strategic, relationship-focused professional to grow our broker portfolio. In this role you will analyze broker portfolios, develop tailored business plans, and deliver high-quality service to broker partners while driving sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen relationships with allocated brokers to identify and maximize growth opportunities.
- Conduct broker portfolio analyses and create strategic business plans to meet segmentation, risk, and profitability objectives.
- Manage underwriting of new and renewal business for allocated brokers.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities and contribute to the strategic direction of broker portfolios.
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager and Sales & Underwriting Manager to support the strategic direction of broker portfolios.
- Monitor external and internal business environments to identify potential risks or opportunities and recommend proactive strategies.
