Locally owned, we reflect the communities we serve, and we celebrate our people - our taonga, every day for being uniquely them.Responsible for identifying new site opportunities for future stores, development and design of new stores, management, maintenance and refurbishment of existing stores, plus seismic remediation, refrigeration upgrades, energy efficiency and maintenance, the Foodies Property team are focussed on supporting members and the co-op to deliver for our customers every day.Te Turanga – About The RoleAs Property Facilities Manager, you'll oversee a diverse portfolio of company-owned properties, ensuring they're well-maintained, compliant, and delivering strong returns.
You'll build effective relationships with tenants, landlords, and contractors, support lease and rent processes, and oversee property operations, budgets, and regulatory compliance.Key Areas Of Responsibility IncludeUndertake a wide array of property management work including building and site maintenance programs, operator, tenant (and where applicable, landlord) liaison, contractor and invoice management, property inspections, building insurance and reportingEnsure that compliance activities are completed on time including remedial workPlan, organise and operate the property administration and management function of allocated properties to agreed goals, measures and service levelsAnnual budgeting by individual property - Manage operating expenses, budgets and wash-upsProvide support and input toward the preparation of leases, subleases and other property related agreements, rent reviews and rent renewalsNga Painga - What We OfferWe're committed to providing awesome experiences for our people, including offering a range of benefits : Free carparking - we've got over 1,000 carparks including EV plugsOnsite café with subsidised meals, mini mart, 5% discount at our retail storesFlexible working options, a day off on your birthdayInhouse learning and development programmes and courses, flu vaccinations, and social network groups (we call them Tribes).
He Korero Mou - About YouYou'll be an experienced Facilities Manager with a strong background in commercial property environment.
Known for your proactive approach and attention to detail, you're confident managing property operations, building stakeholder relationships, and navigating lease and compliance processes.You'll Also HaveStrong understanding of building systems, maintenance planning, and asset lifecycle managementExperience managing service contracts, contractors, and vendor relationshipsDemonstrated ability to manage budgets and control costs effectivelyExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities across a portfolioWe're interested in your diverse experiences, your strengths and how adaptable you are to learn and grow.
