Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to take ownership of a complex and diverse portfolio across multiple sites. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on balancing competing priorities, managing contractors, and building strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead facilities operations in your region, ensuring safety, compliance, and service delivery.
  • Manage and oversee contractors to achieve cost-effective, quality outcomes.
  • Deliver planned and reactive maintenance while reducing reliance on reactive work.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Promote a strong health and safety culture in line with relevant legislation.
  • About you

  • 5+ years’ experience in facilities or property management.
  • Proven ability to manage complex and diverse property portfolios.
  • Strong contract management experience, with the ability to hold service providers accountable.
  • Knowledge of the Building Act, Resource Management Act, and Health & Safety legislation.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to balance competing priorities.
  • Tertiary qualification in building, engineering, or property (or equivalent experience).
