We’re inviting expressions of interest for A320 / 1 Direct Entry First Officer positions as we plan for future growth. Opportunities may be available across both New Zealand bases, subject to operational requirements. To be considered, applicants should meet the following minimum requirements :
Note : A current New Zealand ATPL or CPL with Multi-Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating must be converted via the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act prior to employment.

Jetstar New Zealand operates from two narrow-body bases — Auckland and Christchurch — offering pilots the chance to build a meaningful career while enjoying the lifestyle and landscapes unique to Aotearoa. Rosters typically include 2 to 4 sector days, with a mix of day returns and overnights to keep things varied. Our bid system allows you to nominate preferred roster patterns, which are considered as part of the broader planning process alongside operational requirements.
