The opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Insurance professional to join our team as a Product Specialist – Short tail.

Your new role

Supporting the National Product Manager – Property, you’ll be responsible for providing technical support, assisting with pricing strategies, and holistic portfolio analysis to ensure profitable growth. The products in this portfolio are Property, Motor and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support innovation and growth in the business.
• Support the development and delivery of new processes, products, and tools to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Work with stakeholders to bring projects to fruition.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the ongoing review and updating of Underwriting Rules, including communication of risk appetite.
• Contribute to the ongoing review and updating of existing products.
• Monitor and analyse portfolio results and individual product performance, identify trends and opportunities, and collaborate with stakeholders to maximise opportunities or take corrective action as necessary.
• Ensure adequate pricing, underwriting standards and appropriate risk acceptance.
• Assist with technical audits.
• Manage product and rate governance requirements.
