Te Turanga – About the role
As a Training Coordinator you'll be responsible training new staff to our distribution centre and ensuring all newbies are fully trained and signed off.
You'll also,
Facilitate cross-training and provide regular feedback for continuous improvement
Ensure pre-employment packs from temp agencies are supplied and all the relevant checks are completed
Perform site inductions for all new starters to the business
Participate in the DC Health & Safety Committee as an active member
Develop, maintain, review all Training SOPs
Provide timely corrective advice and guidance to floor staff on a regular basis
Assist in developing templates and training material
Maintain and develop effective relationships with stakeholder groups, including managers, members, operators, suppliers, institutional providers and other stakeholders
Lead and role model the Foodstuffs North Island values
The roster for this role is Monday to Friday 10 : 00pm to 6 : 30am

He korero mou - About you
The ideal candidate for this role will :
Be a strong and effective communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
Have experience working in a Supply Chain environment (preferred but not essential)
Have working experience operating a forklift or other MHE
Have a strong background in administrative excellence and ideally some experience organising / coordinating
Be self-motivated, organised, and effectively able to prioritise workload
Be an excel whizz who can create and own large data sheets
Ideally have experience with Health & Safety practices and implementing positive change
