Te Turanga – About The RoleAs a Training Coordinator you'll be responsible training new staff to our distribution centre and ensuring all newbies are fully trained and signed off.You'll also,Facilitate cross-training and provide regular feedback for continuous improvementEnsure pre-employment packs from temp agencies are supplied and all the relevant checks are completedPerform site inductions for all new starters to the businessParticipate in the DC Health & Safety Committee as an active memberDevelop, maintain, review all Training SOP'sProvide timely corrective advice and guidance to floor staff on a regular basisAssist in developing templates and training materialMaintain and develop effective relationships with stakeholder groups, including managers, members, operators, suppliers, institutional providers and other stakeholdersLead and role model the Foodstuffs North Island valuesThe roster for this role is Monday to Friday 10 : 00pm to 6 : 30amNga Painga - What We OfferWe're committed to providing awesome experiences for our people, including offering a range of benefitsFree carparking - we've got over 1,000 carparks including 36 free EV plugsSouthern cross health insurance5% discount at our retail storesA day off on your birthday and long service leaveInhouse learning and development programmes and courses, flu vaccinations, and social network groups (we call them Tribes).

He Korero Mou - About YouThe ideal candidate for this role will : Be a strong and effective communicator with excellent written and verbal skillsHave experience working in a Supply Chain environment (preferred but not essential)Have working experience operating a forklift or other MHEHave a strong background in administrative excellence and ideally some experience organising / coordinatingBe self-motivated, organised, and effectively able to prioritise workloadBe an excel whizz who can create and own large data sheetsIdeally have experience with Health & Safety practices and implementing positive changeWe're interested in your diverse experiences, your strengths and how adaptable you are to learn and grow.
