We are seeking an experienced and driven event professional to take on the leadership role of Event Planning Lead, overseeing the planning and delivery of business events at Rotorua’s flagship venues – the Energy Events Centre (EEC) and the Sir Howard Morrison Centre (SHMC).

About the Role

As Event Planning Lead, you will :

• Provide strategic oversight and leadership of the business events portfolio across EEC and SHMC.
• Lead and mentor the event planning team, ensuring cohesive and effective delivery of all events.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted partner in delivering exceptional event outcomes.
• Optimise event planning processes to achieve operational excellence and support commercial growth objectives.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement across event planning practices.
