IT Support Specialist – End User Computing
Responsibilities
Provide technical support via phone, remote access, or deskside visits as required.
Respond to IT issues including installation of external devices, desktops, laptops, hardware diagnostics, maintenance, repairs, and general software support.
Deliver Smart Hands and Feet support when required, including POS and PowerShell scripting.
Manage inventory of new and replacement equipment; diagnose hardware faults, record relevant details (serial number, location, etc.), and coordinate with the Service Desk for repair services.
Perform IMAC / D tasks installation, decommissioning, cascades, moves, adds, and changes of EUC equipment and software.
Skill Requirements
Proven experience as a Desktop Technician, Computer Technician, or IT Support professional in a business environment.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to support end-users and VIPs.
Proficiency in supporting Microsoft Office applications (Office ).
Experience with Windows OS (7 and 10).
Knowledge of WAN / LAN technology and basic understanding of LAN / WAN network topology.
Hands-on experience with Cisco switch installation and configuration as per templates.
Ability to provide remote access support for network devices (Switch / WLC) via console cable.
Experience supporting common business office devices including printers, scanners, mobile devices, and audio / video equipment.
Familiarity with ticketing systems or equivalent platforms.
