Mo te tima / About our teamThe Maori, Communities and Partnerships Group is responsible for building capability across MSD to support the aspirations of Maori and connecting and collaborating to build effective partnerships and community approaches that achieve better outcomes for those who most need our support.The Service and Contracts Management team is responsible for managing a range of contracts with service providers and partners throughout New Zealand.Te ahua o te turanga / About the roleIn this role, you will actively provide ongoing support and advice to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, leading service development projects with precision and insight.
Your focus will be on the Out of School Care and Recreation (OSCAR) programme, community participation, and essential services and programmes for disabled people.
You'll have strong expertise in developing operational policy that can be implemented, with an eye for detail that doesn't lose sight of the big picture.
Tasked with identifying and reporting on impactful national trends and issues, your contribution will help frame the future delivery environment, and ensure that business as usual is maintained from day to day.
You'll enhance the quality and effectiveness of our services, programmes, and practices.
Building meaningful relationships will be central to your role, and you'll be comfortable in managing relationships with external partners to deal with sensitive issues from time to time.
