Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) are looking for a proactive professional to join our talented Project Management team in Auckland. You’ll work alongside experienced Senior Project Managers and Directors, managing the full lifecycle of projects — from early planning and design through to delivery and completion.
About the Role
This position offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to manage a wide range of construction and remediation projects. You’ll work across the property, education, commercial, and civic sectors — overseeing everything from major redevelopments to smaller, fast-moving projects.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage remediation and construction projects from inception to completion
- Lead procurement and tender processes for consultants and contractors
- Oversee budgets, cost tracking, and cost-control measures
- Coordinate design and planning, including building and resource consents
- Administer contracts and manage project documentation
- Monitor progress, timelines, and deliverables
- Chair and attend client meetings, ensuring clear and consistent communication
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
About You
Proven experience in project management within the construction and / or infrastructure sectorsStrong understanding of NZS 3910 and contract administrationExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsProficiency in project planning, budgeting, and cost managementExperience with procurement and tender managementRelevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or similarEligible to work in New Zealand and currently based hereWhat’s on Offer
