• .What You'll doThe Senior Project Manager will manage projects through the construction phase to completion in New Zealand.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure all projects are built safely and in accordance with LSBP and HSE requirements of the relevant country, including Worksafe NZManage all construction aspects of Renewable Energy projects from early works through to commissioning and completionDevelop and foster strong working relationships with the New Zealand and Australian teams and at global level to support business developmentConstruction reporting to internal and external stakeholdersDelivery of best practice PM systems and controlsProvide input into LSbp T&C team to select the optimum EPC and Network Service Provider (NSP) contractors from RFP to contractual negotiations and final selectionSecuring strong interaction between both business development and assets management departmentsPrepare budget and time schedule of the project and ensure the project is built in accordance with the sameEnsure all projects comply with the requirements of the applicable permits and contractsManaging project handover from construction to operations ensuring early involvementWho we're looking forKnowledgeIt is desirable to have 10 years of prior experience of the renewable energy & construction industry, ideally from either an EPC, NSP or similar company to Lightsource bpKnowledge and understanding of the constraints affecting the renewable energy industry in New Zealand and as applicable from any Australian learningsProject Management experience in renewable energy plants connected to both MV and HV networks.
