About the RoleThis is an important role that combines product strategy, commercial acumen and technical depth across different segments.
You'll define the roadmap for Air New Zealand's payment products, driving initiatives that simplify and elevate how customers pay while delivering measurable business value.This role will lead our payments strategy across the Airline, ensuring we realise benefits from a recent platform modernisation and remain at the forefront of global payments innovations.If you have a strong grasp of modern payments and open banking, thrive in complexity and enjoy influencing at both organisational and industry levels, we'd love to hear from you.About youYou'll bring extensive experience in product management, ideally within payments, banking and financial services, or open banking.
You're equally comfortable developing long-term product strategy and rolling up your sleeves to deliver across multiple teams and platforms.Key experience we're looking for includes : Demonstrated technical acumen across complex, integrated platforms, and a hands-on approach working deeply with cross-functional squadsProven ability to develop and execute impactful product strategies that deliver customer and commercial valueDemonstrates strong commercial acumen, with experience identifying and leveraging market opportunities to drive product profitability and achieve business outcomesA unique balance of vision and pragmatism.
