About the
Role
We have a permanent full-time opportunity within our Waitaha
Canterbury team for a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Contact Tracer (Sexual
Health).
The primary purpose of the Contract Tracing Nurse role is to lead HIV,
syphilis and other sexually transmitted infectious diseases contact tracing
efforts in collaboration with the clinical team.
This involves but is not
limited to, initial set up of this service, reporting of actions and outcomes, proactive
outreach, clinical follow-up, and strong relationship-building with primary
care providers, community services, and regional partners.
This role will cover the top half of Te
Waipounamu from Ashburton to Picton and will partner with our Southern
colleague.

of the Hospital and Specialist Services at Christchurch Hospital, within Health

on oranga / wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention.
