About the roleThe Facilities Maintenance Coordinator role is responsible for leading and coordinating the delivery of facilities maintenance projects across key sites and infrastructure, ensuring outcomes that reflect excellence in operational performance, regulatory compliance, and health and safety.Key Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role Will IncludeLead the end-to-end delivery of facilities maintenance projects, including scoping, scheduling, budgeting, and contractor oversight.Coordinate multiple concurrent maintenance activities across Mangere WWTP and wastewater pump stations and other sites.Coordinate with contractors for office refurbishments.Maintain project documentation, track milestones, and report on progress and risks.Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and Watercare standards.Transition previously outsourced tasks to internal delivery, generating long-term savings and institutional knowledgeEnsure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Nga pukenga e rapu nei matou | About youTo Be Successful In This Role You Will DemonstratePrevious experience in a similar project management role.Strong financial management, budgeting and reporting skills.Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to develop business cases, audits reports and present complex information effectively to both internal and external audiences.A good understanding of relevant legislation and compliance obligationsKnowledge and demonstrated practice in health and safety legislation, systems, standards and requirementsNga hua mou | What\'s in it for youWe offer a competitive salary and staff benefits package including : Training and development opportunitiesLife and income protection insurance plansGenerous parental leaveEmployee discounts at a range of large retailersMe pehea te tono mai | How to ApplyCome and join our team!
