Maintenance Coordinator- Distribution Centre

Are you a mechanically minded individual with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities?

Located at our National Distribution Centre in East Tamaki, Auckland, we are seeking a proactive Maintenance Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for machinery breakdowns and faults. You will use a process of elimination to diagnose issues and confidently resolve minor problems when possible. When necessary, you will coordinate with external service providers to address more complex repairs.

You will use Maintenance Connect to set up new assets, log jobs and manage spare parts.

What a day-to-day looks like :

• Conduct daily checks on materials handling equipment such as the hung garment sorter, tilt tray sorter, carton sorter, Boiler, steam tunnels, fork hoists, printers, computers, and software.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment and coordinate servicing with relevant contractors.
• Meet with contractors on-site to review tasks, ensuring production runs smoothly and that any risks are properly managed.
• Raise work orders for vendors to carry out repairs and verify that machinery is operational post-repair.
• Raise purchase orders for vendors, ensuring invoices align with work orders before payment approval.
• Manage spare parts inventory, track usage, and replenish stock as needed.
