We are looking for talented and experienced Head Chef's to join us in Wellington.What we're looking for : Passionate commitment to a successful career in the hospitality industryProjects a friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude at all timesPossesses a creative flair and superb presentation skillsWhat we need from you : You must have a minimum of 3 years relevant experienceThe ability to provide high quality meals in a fast-paced environmentStrong focus on food safety complianceExceptional customer service standardsAbility to engage with local communityWell-rounded experience within bar / pub industryFlexible availability to work rostered shifts as our venue is open 7 days a weekWhat will your job duties include?

Plan and develop menus that are in line with venue standardsEnsuring accurate food and labour costs, ordering food supplies, managing deliveries and processing invoicesMonitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentationEnsuring effective collaboration and communication across kitchen and front-of-house teams in regard to food preparation, standards and practicesDemonstrating techniques and advising on cooking methodsPreparing and cooking food to a consistently high standardExplaining and enforcing hygiene regulations and practices including managing kitchen log books, cleaning schedules and temperature log booksSelecting and training new staff, ensuring they are being trained to a high standard and familiarising them with kitchen processesBuild a high performance team and lead a productive kitchen cultureWorking professionally in a fast paced environmentWhy choose us?
