What we need from you :

You must have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience

The ability to provide high quality meals in a fast-paced environment

Strong focus on food safety compliance

Exceptional customer service standards

Ability to engage with local community

Well-rounded experience within bar / pub industry

Flexible availability to work rostered shifts as our venue is open 7 days a week

What will your job duties include?

Plan and develop menus that are in line with venue standards

Ensuring accurate food and labour costs, ordering food supplies, managing deliveries and processing invoices

Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation

Ensuring effective collaboration and communication across kitchen and front-of-house teams in regard to food preparation, standards and practices

Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking methods

Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard

Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations and practices including managing kitchen log books, cleaning schedules and temperature log books

Selecting and training new staff, ensuring they are being trained to a high standard and familiarising them with kitchen processes

Build a high performance team and lead a productive kitchen culture

Working professionally in a fast paced environment
