About the Role
We are looking for a person to join our grounds and maintenance team at Tasman Holiday Parks - Miranda and to help take our park to the next level. You will be responsible for ensuring the park and facilities are both looking good and everything is in working order.
Duties include :
General labour and garden maintenance, including maintenance of lawns, trees and other plantings, and experience in using related machinery and tools.
General building maintenance such as painting, minor carpentry work and minor plumbing repairs.
Cleaning
Clearing of rubbish and debris
Assist guests with any enquiries they have as you work around the park.
You must be able to prioritize your workload & deal with many tasks at one time.
It is essential that our guest’s first impressions are excellent, and all efforts must be made to help achieve this.
What You'll Bring to the Team
This position requires a person with a good level of physical fitness.
Experience in a building maintenance would be desirable
Experience with lawn, plant and tree care
Knowledge of maintenance procedures
Perform troubleshooting to solve repair issues
Must have a pleasant, helpful personality, get on well with other people and be courteous to guests.
Must be able to work cooperatively with others, follow instructions, and use initiative where appropriate.
Must have common sense, a practical approach and the ability to work under pressure at times.
Must be reliable and demonstrate a high standard of work ethics including honesty, punctuality, and commitment to high standards.
Ability to work outdoors in all sorts of weather conditions
This position is casual offering around 20 hours per week. You must be available to work at least 2 weekends a month and peak periods.
