We're recruiting on behalf of a leading freight and logistics provider seeking a strategic and commercially savvy Commercial Manager to drive growth across the Wellington region.
This is a high-impact role focused on acquiring regional and national accounts, managing key client relationships, and supporting franchise partners to deliver exceptional service. You'll play a critical part in shaping commercial strategy, leading tenders, and driving international export growth.
Responsibilities
- Acquire new B2B, multi-branch, and national accounts to meet ambitious sales targets.
- Lead tender and RFP submissions with tailored, competitive proposals.
- Manage and grow key accounts through strategic reviews and retention initiatives.
- Support franchisees with sales training and lead conversion.
- Maintain accurate CRM data and provide commercial insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications
3+ years in B2B sales or commercial management, ideally in logistics or freight.Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Proven success in sales strategy execution and customer retention.Commercial acumen and ability to influence across all levels.CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred) and intermediate MS Office skills.Why This Role
