We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented and committed Finance Assistant to support our dynamic and friendly Finance team at our Head Office in Greenlane, Auckland.
This is a permanent, full-time role (40 hours), ideal for someone with foundational finance experience who is eager to grow and contribute to a supportive environment.About the Role : As a Finance Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
You'll be responsible for a range of tasks, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, billing, bank reconciliations and other ad hoc finance duties.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in an evolving environment, collaborating across teams, engaging with our external funders, but also can work autonomously and deliver to required deadlines.ResponsibilitiesManaging regular billing for ACC, MOH, DHB and private clientsManaging debtor collectabilityProviding analysis of overdue amount and conducting timely financial investigations of aging debtorsAssisting with entering supplier invoices, processing payments, and reconciling outstanding itemsMaintaining accurate supplier information in the finance systemPerforming bank and credit card reconciliationsQualificationsA tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance (e.g., Bachelor of Accounting)Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or accounts payable and billingStrong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF functions)Ability to work with data from multiple systemsExperience with Exonet – MYOB is an advantageExcellent attention to detail and analytical skillsAdaptable, proactive, and eager to learnStrong communication and interpersonal skillsMust have the legal right to work permanently in New ZealandBenefitsThe support of a dynamic, friendly, and experienced team environmentOpportunity to expand your skillset and progress your careerStructured onboarding and ongoing support for all staff, regardless of experience levelFree Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)Paid birthday leaveOpportunity to contribute meaningfully to a company that makes a real difference in people's livesAbout usHealthvision is an award-winning provider of specialist Homecare, Community Nursing and Rehabilitation services throughout New Zealand.
