As a result of increased global demand and development of our Load Volume Scanning technology, we are expanding and looking to employ a Product Support Technician to join our Headquarters in Hamilton.Your role will be to support the sales team with field technical expertise and customers that have purchased Loadscan products.ResponsibilitiesIn-depth familiarization with Loadscan products and technologiesCustomer technical and field supportSupport will involve working with multiple technologies, including industrial computers, laser measurement, RFID, wireless networks, IP cameras, web technologies and 3D data visualizationUtilize technical support system (ticketing system) for management of all support queriesCreation of knowledge base and other support resourcesCreation of technical and user documentation and tutorial developmentOn-site installations and servicing, globallyHands-on approach to hardware assembly and installations - ability to tow and back a trailer confidentlyAbility to travel to siteWork as part of small teams in various locations and take on the full range of tasks within abilitiesExperience & QualificationsTertiary qualification in IT / technology or 3-year minimum industry experienceComputer and other hardware assembly / repair skillsExcellent communication and team skillsConcise written and verbal skills in EnglishAble to manage conflict and competing prioritiesDriver's LicenceHands-on, technically minded person with exceptional oral communication skills and strong personal organisation and customer serviceThe role will require international travel to customer sites, so you will need a valid passportWe are looking for a hands-on, technically minded person with exceptional oral communication skills and who has excellent personal organisation skills and customer service.The role will require international travel to customer sites, so you will need a valid passport.Travel & LocationLocation : Headquarters in Hamilton.Application questionsHow many years' experience do you have as a Product Support Technician?
